Libby Hattersley

Not satisfied with a solid degree in nutrition, Libby went on and completed her PhD across the Tasman at the Australian National University in Canberra. Great news for us at Foodcom, we have our very own Dr Libby!

Also great news as Libby has a keen eye for detail and is not fazed by a solid stack of scientific literature. She is a peer reviewer for several well respected journals and has a strong interest in a whole foods systems approach to healthy eating.

Libby has spent over 15 years on issues such as links between trade policy and diet, food security and nutrition in Small Island Developing States, and childhood obesity. It’s fair to say she has her mind on the big picture and her eye on the evidence.

When she’s not busy helping our clients get their facts straight and message clear, Libby consults to UN agencies such as the FAO and other international organisations.

Libby’s favourite food destination: Southern Italy.

Libby dreams of: endless summers.
