Julie is Founder and Director of Foodcom. She has over 20 years experience in global food companies, integrating nutrition within businesses, linking the science and technical teams to the marketing and communications.
With qualifications in human nutrition and dietetics, Julie has a love for good food, honest brands, the excitement of local markets, and the ever changing supermarket scene. She is driven by a desire to see both consumers and businesses thrive from the delivery of better foods and beverages into market.
Julie has also worked with Food Standards Australia New Zealand and a Communications agency giving her a rare ability to understand regulatory requirements through to clear and effective communication and advertising.
With her strength in communications, Julie is a guest lecturer to several NZ universities and has delivered nutrition training sessions for marketers as far afield as Venezuela and China.
